THE MASS ON THURSDAY is a School class Mass. Come and see how the children of St Teresa’s School are learning that the Mass is central to our Catholic way of life. As a very dear parishioner said to me, years ago, on his death bed….”The Mass is everything”.  If we do not teach that then there is nothing!

FOR THE LIVING AND FOR THE DEAD and in November we think especially of the dead. In the Communion of Saints we remain united to our dear dead and they to us until we all meet again at the last day. During the month of November we pray for our dead and have Masses said for them. The Holy Souls Box in the Church can be used for this or you can let me have a request for a particular Mass Intention: The main thing is that we do not forget our dead and that we strive to live in the same hope that we shall see them again. And don’t forget that our Christian hope is a theological virtue…it comes from God.
