Offertory Polly Sklenar, Flowers Members of the Flower Group Coffee – Monica Raper, Church Cleaning – Margaret Giblin & Anne Bowe (commencing 18th April)

THANK YOU SOUNDS SO INSIGNIFICANT   to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for all you have done (behind the scene) in St. Teresa’s for God and for me personally during Holy Week and Easter. The various services to Commemorate the Lords last life-giving days on earth and glorious Resurrection were touching and inspiring. Many, many of you made them so. The dedication of all involved was a wonderful expression of faith and prayerful devotion to our Lord.

I am thinking of the three Deacons, the superb alter servers (and their personal trainer) the musicians, the singers and all in the two choirs, the individual soloists, the excellent readers, the eucharist ministers, the flower group for the wonderful and artistic displays, the welcomer’s, the Sacristan, the owners of the feet on Maundy Thursday, the cleanliness of the whole Church was a credit to those that cleaned; the polished sacred vessels and everything used in the liturgical celebrations was an expression of love and service to the Church and the Lord.

THANK YOU for all your personal Easter gifts of one kind and another; your words of affirmation, your greeting cards, your very generous offertory gifts, coupled with edible and liquid refreshments. I think I’ll have to stay here for months to drink it all. (please come and visit  me in the drying out clinic if you have the time)

Thank God that so many came to the Holy Week and Easter Masses. That was a true expression of faith, despite all the depressing things the media throw at us. The faith here is alive and well.

‘A WOMAN’S PLACE’  Discussion Day for all women of the Diocese on Saturday 24th April at Christ The King, Milton Keynes 11am to 3.00pm. Input from speaker Tina Beattie should get us talking. Bring a packed lunch and join the discussion. (Further details from Liz Duffy, on behalf of the National Board of Catholic Women)

THE PARISH BIBLE STUDY GROUP  resumes after its break for Easter, and will meet in the Clubroom on Thursday 15th April from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. We continue looking at St. Mark’s Gospel. All parishioners or friends of parishioners are welcome.

Blessings on all parishioners and visitors.
