LENT IS ON
US Our
annual few weeks of training begin on
Ash Wednesday. May this Lent be rich in grace for us all so that we may use
Lent as preparation for Holy week and Easter. Father
Tom Kenny will arrive late on Sunday 21st February. Bishop Peter is
coming for Ash Wednesday for both Masses in the church i.e. 10.00 am and 8.00
pm and Canon Tony Griffiths will come for the 4.00 pm Mass on Ash Wednesday at
Ker Maria.
On Thursday and Friday (18th & 19th)
following Ash Wednesday Canon Griffiths will be with you for the 10.00 am Mass
on each of those days. I thank both Bishop Peter and Cannon Griffiths for being
so ready to help our parish. I hope and pray that with Father Toms help there
will be Mass every day during Lent.
IN RETIREMENT I shall continue to hold you in my heart and to pray for you. I owe you
so much. Father Tom will be truly blessed if you love and support him as you
have loved and supported me.
THE
POSPONED CAFOD PROJECT MEETING will now take place this Monday (15th Feb)
at 7.30 pm in the Clubroom. New members always welcome.

Ministry again.
