WELL DONE ALL THOSE who try to come to Mass during the week. It must be a real pleasure to set off for
church on a really nice Summer’s day. But you have to consult the newsletter for
the time of Mass during the week. There
is stability to our Mass times but just now and again I have to change the
weekday time due to having to be elsewhere in the diocese. For those who have the time, what better
thing to do than to come to Mass – to pray for one’s own intentions, the
intentions of the parish and those of the wider world. I often think that the daily Mass is like a
spiritual power house: parishioners come for different reasons but everyone of
us is touched by Our Lord. It is
consoling and cheering for me to see such a good group at daily
DON’T FORGET the Parish party, cricket match, picnic and barbecue on Sunday July 13th.
The venue is kindly provided by one of our parishioners. If you are a cricketer
and want to play or if you simply want to come and enjoy the day with all the
family, please complete one of the yellow forms in the Narthex.
