NOVEMBER  is the month when we pray specially for the dead and we are praying especially at this time for dear Albert Rigby and for Norman Tench. Our sympathies and prayers are for Jenny and her family. Norman had a long and difficult illness which he bore patiently and with great courage. St Teresa, our patron saint, taught us how a saint should die. In different ways Albert and Norman did the same: Albert holding a photo of his beloved wife Pat in his hand, Norman with his irrepressible smile and surrounded by his loving family. We shall not forget them for what they brought to our parish and we shall keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

CHRISTIAN AID  invite you this Thursday (19th) to the Baptist Church Hall to join them for coffee and mince pies, (entry just £2.00) from 10.00am to 12 noon where they will also be selling Christmas cards, all are very welcome.

CHRISTMAS CARDS   will be on sale in the clubroom after each of the Masses this weekend.

CALLING ALL YOUNG PEOPLE  Next weekend the Feast of Christ the King is celebrated as Youth Sunday. Therefore, at the 10.00am Mass our young people will be greatly involved in our Liturgy. In order to ensure that the Mass will be prayerful and joyful we are meeting next Saturday at 3.00pm in the Church. All young people are invited to join us and become involved in a variety of ways…altar serving.. reading.. singing.. sign language.. operating the C.D. player.. musicians ..offertory.. welcoming or drama.

WE NOW HAVE  Advent books, diaries and calendars for sale in the book room in the church suitable for all age groups. Please feel free to come and look.

ST TERESA’S CHRISTMAS FEST   is getting closer and closer! If you can, we still need bottles , new toys, chocolates and biscuits. Please can you bake for our cake stall?  thank you.

Santa’s grotto needs some sparkle! If you have any unwanted tinsel or baubles they may be just what we need, so please leave them in the box in the Narthex and we will see what can be achieved.

Does anyone have any small trays suitable for use in the Christmas Fest lunch hall that we may borrow for the day? if you do please speak to Theresa Aldis, thank you.
