THE ORDINARY SUNDAYS OF THE YEAR begin this weekend and take us to Lent and Easter. Then another series of ordinary Sundays take us to next Advent – thus the story of Salvation is told for us each year and through the Liturgy we grow in Faith. How we should try to look upon our coming to Mass each week as an opportunity to learn how God speaks to us. If we came conscious that God is calling us, leading us through this life on a path which takes us to heaven. A path which includes the delight of learning that He is with us always: “Guide my heart Almighty God that I may remember your presence day and night”.

THE DAY WITH ST PAUL which is on Saturday, 24^th January will be really interesting. The guest speaker, Sister Helen from Thornton College, has lived in Jerusalem and in Rome where St Paul began his life with Christ and sealed it by shedding his blood. Come and let St Paul come to life for you and learn especially how important he is in our life. Sign up in the Narthex so that the organisers will know how many to cater for lunch.

THE BIBLE STUDY GROUP restart regular meetings this Thursday (22^nd) and will meet in the clubroom from 7.30 to 9.00pm. New members are always welcome, please see next week’s newsletter for even more interest!
