HE IS RISEN, ALLELUIA!  In some countries of ancient Catholic tradition the greeting at Easter is “Christ is Risen”.  The words pass from mouth to mouth after Mass, coming out of Mass and in the streets.  Christ is risen!  After His loving ministry and His terrible suffering Christ is risen!  If the risen Christ is in our hearts we shall want to tell others about Him.

BISHOP PETER will be concelebrating the Mass on Thursday at 7 p.m.  The Bishop’s visit is to show his support for the Catholic schools in Buckinghamshire.  The Catholic school headteachers and governors will be attending – parishioners are, of course, welcome too at the Mass.

ST. TERESA’S SCHOOL would like to invite all parishioners to attend the dress rehearsal of their school production, Jungle Book, on Monday, 31st March at 1.30 p.m. in Walsingham Hall.

PARENTS & TODDLERS start after Easter on Tuesday, 22nd April.  They meet on Tuesdays (term time) at 10.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m.  All are welcome.

CAFOD GROUP – The next event in the Cafod calendar is a Bangers & Mash Lunch on Sunday, 27th April.  Please put this date in your diary now.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY.  There will be a retreat led by the Divine Mercy Apostolate held on Sunday, 30th March at Fawley Court, Henley-on-Thames starting at 10.00 a.m.  finishing at 4.00 p.m.  Please speak to Barbara if you wish to attend.

MONEY, MONEY.  Offertory £805.18, Retiring Collection £36.18. Cafod £6.00.  God bless your support for your parish and your priest.  I appreciate specially the cheerful way in which you live as disciples of Jesus and members of St. Teresa’s Parish.  Even with my poor sight I do not miss much, thank God, and I am very grateful to you for your good example to me.  I hope Lent has been good for you – now for the glory of Easter.

Love and prayers,
