WITH OUR LIVING FAITH we know that the Risen Saviour Jesus Christ is living now and with us at every moment of our lives.  His Presence is especially intense and life giving when we are at Mass and when we celebrate the sacraments of the Church.  Lent is about being set free and understanding true freedom.  May we continue to help each other by prayer and good example to know that He is in our midst.  Holy Week is the most powerful time of grace each year for Catholics.  Make up your mind now to giving top priority to coming to the major liturgies of Holy Week: Holy Thursday, the Mass of the Lord’s Supper in the evening, Good Friday, the Solemn Celebration of Our Lord’s Passion and Death in the afternoon and then the most wonderful of all our liturgies the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night when we celebrate the Resurrection and with full hearts renew our Baptismal Promises.

C.W.L. meet in the clubroom on Monday, 25th February at 10.30 a.m.  All are welcome.

StT'sFC meet this Sunday in the Walsingham Hall from 4 - 6 p.m. All children in year's 4 - 6 are invited to join in the fun, grow in their faith and enjoy each others friendship.

FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT runs from 25th February until 9th March and a member of the Cafod Group will be speaking at each of the Masses this weekend about Fairtrade.

TRAIDCRAFT goods will be on sale after each of the weekend Masses during Fairtrade fortnight, i.e. 1st/2nd March and 8th/9th March.

LIGHTHOUSE QUIZ NIGHT.  A fund-raising event for Lighthouse on 15th March 8 – 10.30 p.m. in Walsingham Hall.  Tickets £5 per person – bring your own drinks and nibbles.  Teams/tables of 8 people or terms can be formed on the night.  Please contact Ingrid Gardner for tickets on 01844-347996.   Prayer Support for Lighthouse – there are two dedicated ladies who meet monthly to pray for Lighthouse and its needs.  They are feeling quite lonely and would appreciate some company!  We seek your prayers for our volunteer staff and the children who attend – for some of these children it is the only contact with God they receive all year.  If you would like to help Lighthouse spiritually please contact Ingrid for more details.

MONEY, MONEY.  Offertory £676.99, Retiring Collection in aid of CAFOD’s Fast Day  £539.60.  God bless your support for your parish.

Love and prayers,

Fr. Gerald
