TRY TO REMEMBER
that May is the month of Mary a time
to think of her and thank her for
saying yes when the Angel Gabriel made known
to her what God had in mind. Be done unto me according to your word. I hope
that you have some visual reminder of her in your home and make a point of
paying special attention to it during May. No suppliant sinner left her feeling
unpitied, unconsoled from
the hymn O
Mother Blest.
THE CIVIC SERVICE
this year will be held in our church on
Sunday 7th June at 3pm.
We shall be hosts to the Civic authorities and to our friends from the other
churches the service is ecumenical. Please make every effort to attend. It
will be our chance to show our appreciation of all that the Town Council do on
our behalf.
SISTER ANNES DAY on learning how God can speak to us
through our dreams is an opportunity to explore what is common to us all
..everyone
dreams. In the words of a great student of human behaviour, our dreams are
the royal road to our hidden unconscious life. Dont be shy of this! A lot of
parishioners will remember Sister Anne please see the insert this week-end
and sign up in the Narthex. I realise that it is a lot to dedicate a precious
Saturday to ones inner life. Is it not worth it?
