I AM THE BREAD OF
LIFE. This is my Body, Our Lord
said over the bread, this is My Blood over the wine. The priest says after the Consecration,
Let us proclaim the mystery of faith.
The mystery, i.e. what is hidden, is that the bread is no more, the wine
is no more. The mystery of faith is that
the bread and wine have become the Body and Blood of Jesus, our Lord and
Saviour. There is quite a small group of
First Holy Communicants this year, just 12.
The catechists asked that they have their own Mass at
MOST PRIESTS take a day off a week – something I
have not been able to do since my curate days in
YOUTH TALENT SHOW. Many thanks to all of the
young people who have volunteered their time, talent and enthusiasm in the
opening stages of the fund raising talent show. Unfortunately due to a
limited response, we do not, at this stage, have enough material to be able to
go ahead in June. But please do not be disappointed, we are only postponing
this concert until later in the year when we will
hopefully have drummed up a little more interest. Thanks once again to those
who have supported this youth project and watch this space for a new date.
TRAIDCRAFT will be on sale in the club room
after each of the Masses next weekend.
APF Annual Reunion Mass is to be held on
