THE SEASON OF EASTER lasts until the Ascension. Let us try to make it a special time when our
thoughts and prayers go to heaven and we seek to avoid sin – especially
habitual sin. We can get very used to our own wicked ways – so used that they do not seem
all that sinful. A reading of
WELL DONE ALL WHO CAME
TO LISTEN TO FATHER DANIEL O’LEARY Personally I liked especially his gentle manner and his
suggestion that we should not try to remember all that he said. The Holy Spirit,
if we invite him into our lives, can help us see how Fr. Daniel has helped us.
Hooray!
AND NOW FOR OUR DREAM WORKSHOP and Sister Anne Morris will be here
Saturday 16th May. The title Sister Anne suggests for the workshop
is “Finding God through dreams” Book the date now. Remember that we are like
ice-bergs – i.e. most of us is hidden beneath the
water line. But we can access our hidden depths through our dreams. Sister Anne
will help us interpret them. For the sceptical there are important biblical
references to dreams, Joseph in the Old Testament and Joseph in the New
Testament.
