ONE OF THE GRACES   which came on the occasion of John Harding’s Requiem Mass was the remark passed by a visiting priest noticing the spirituality of our parish. That is very good news for any parish priest and I thank God for you. May I make again St. Paul’s words my own “ If our life in Christ means anything to you, if love can persuade at all, or the Spirit that we have in common or any sympathy or tenderness then be united in your convictions and your love, with a common purpose and a common mind…..that is the one thing that would make me completely happy”  (Philippians Ch. 2)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS   Anne and her family would like to say thank you to everyone in the Parish for the love they have been shown, and  for the cards and the letters you have sent. They have been such a comfort to the family, but more importantly they thank you for your prayers.  Words alone cannot tell you just how much this has meant to them, so please continue to pray for them.

S.T.Y.L.E. YOUTH CONCERT  If you were unable to make it to the Youth Concert on Sunday  - you missed a fantastic afternoon. We should all be so very proud of what the youth in our parish accomplished that day, not only did they provide a great couple of hours of entertainment but they also raised an amazing amount of money ! (with your help of course) and we should be able to let you know the final total next week. This money will go CAFOD’s  rehabilitation of child soldiers in Sierra Leone. Thank you to all involved both on stage and off for all your hard work and the dedication you have shown.

ST. T’s FC  Calling all those in years 4, 5 and 6. We meet again this Sunday in the Walsingham Hall from 4-6pm. If you have not joined us before why not come to this Sunday’s session of faith, fun and friendship.

CAFOD EVENTS  Cafod is holding a Campaign Energiser Day on Saturday 8th November at St Augustine’s Church, Milton  Keynes from 1.00 – 5.00 pm. There will be a guest speaker from the Philippines, and the event will be followed by CAFOD’s Annual memorial Mass at 6.00pm celebrated by Bishop Peter – a way in which to remember all those in the Diocese who have supported CAFOD’s work around the world.
