THE RELICS OF ST TERESA OF THE CHILD JESUS  will be making a visit to the Carmelite church of St. Joseph in Gerrards Cross on October 8th and 9th. Full details of the programme which has been arranged are displayed in the Narthex. When we have an idea of the number of parishioners from St Teresa’s who wish to attend we can think how best to proceed. Please look for the clip board in the Narthex and write your name on the list if you plan to attend.

THE SWINE FLU PANDEMIC  Bishop Peter has written again and asked us to stop using the Holy water stoop. The Bishop emphasises that his advice arises from the need to protect the vulnerable namely children, the elderly and those with underlying health problems. So, as announced last week end the precautions are as follows.

Holy Communion from the chalice is suspended until further notice.

The Host should be given only in the hand.

The sign of peace should  be made without a handshake…just a nod or a smile.

Bishop Peter emphasises that personal hygene is of the highest importance i.e. hand washing, and using a handkerchief or tissue when coughing or sneezing.

I shall bless a fresh supply of Holy water this week end, at the 10.00am Mass. If you would like some to take home please apply at the Sacristy.
