THANKS EVERYONE   for making Christmas at St Teresa’s such a happy one. Everything was done very well; altar servers, choirs, readers, meet and greeters all take a bow. I was not very conscious that it was my last Christmas here as your parish priest but it is lovely for me to have such a good Christmas to remember – along with all the others over the past thirty years. Thank you for the lovely Christmas cards and presents and thank you too for the pile of money you gave me. You have always been very generous to me both at Christmas and Easter and through your Mass offerings. These make up the personal income for the priest and I am very grateful to you. I remember in my previous parish a kind lady gave me quite a large Mass offering and when I protested mildly that she had given me too much she brushed my words aside saying that she was sure that I had many expenses to meet. I thank God for the loving people of our parishes who support their priests so well.

OUR LOVELY CRIB  to be admired and prayed before. Thank you Ray Stokes for erecting it as you have done for many years. The Crib Offerings will be sent to help the Christians in Palestine. Due to the political trouble in the Holy Land many of the Christian Arabs have fled. Those who remain are having a hard time. Please let us remember them when we kneel before the Crib.

ST. T’s F.C.   This Sunday (3rd January)  is the Christmas party, everyone in years 4, 5 and 6 come along to the Walsingham Hall from 4.00 to 6.00 pm  and join us.

S.T.Y.L.E.   will meet up in the Walsingham Hall on Friday (8th January) at 7.00pm to finish at 9.00pm. All in years 7 to 13 are welcome, if you haven’t been before, now would be a great time to join us.

CHRISTIAN AID  Join us for lunch on Thursday 7th January at the Baptist Church Hall at 12.00 noon to 1.30 pm. There will be three courses including tea or coffee for £5.50. All are very welcome.

THE SEWING GROUP will meet this Thursday at 10.30 a.m. in the Club Room. All welcome.

BUYING THAT EXTRA CHRISTMAS GIFT    Saunderton Hostel were overwhelmed with the quality and the quantity of Christmas gifts donated by St Teresa’s parish and would like to say a very big thank you.

MONEY. Offertory £450.97 Retiring Collection £19.02. CAFOD £2.00. God Bless your support and generosity for your Church.
