MAY is the month dedicated to Mary the
Mother of God. When I was an
undergraduate one of my friends, and he still is, said that he found it strange
that in the Divine Praises, we include Mary. Without hesitation I said that it
would surely please Jesus to know that his disciples have a high opinion of
Mary – a respectful and loving opinion. Try to think of Mary during Mass, a
Hail Mary around the table or at our bedside would be very fitting. We say the
Rosary in May after each week day Mass in the church. Try to make it a special
month of love and praise of Mary, Mother of God, Mother of Jesus true God and
true Man.
FATHER TOM KENNY will be here from Thursday 7th
May until and including Sunday 10th May. So I shall have a few days
off….Hooray! I am very grateful to Father Tom and I know you are too.
