THE EPIPHANY and THE CELEBRATION OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD are closely connected (to use one of Bishop Peter’s words).  In the Childhood of Jesus we see Him with His Mother and Christian art shows her either adoring Him in the manger or holding Him up so that we can see.  The wise men from the East found Him and worshipped Him and He was with His mother.  There could be no Epiphany without Mary – we honour her and thank God for the part He gave her in letting us see and worship Jesus.

STYLE meet again this Friday, 9th January, for a fun outing which will take us to a bowling alley and noodle bar.  ANYONE who is in Years 7-13 is welcome.  We will need to meet in St. Teresa’s car park at 5.30 p.m. and will return at about 8.30 p.m.  Lifts will be provided.  There is a sign up form in the Narthex are you can contact Celia Sparkes on 01844-346628 for further information.
