THANK YOU  Last Sunday’s retiring collection for parish building work was very well supported. I was overwhelmed by your generosity. £645.71 was collected in the narthex and a further £1100.00 donated via the Presbytery letter box.

THE LIGHT OF CHRIST  As Christians the light of Christ should shine out in our good works, especially in what we do for the hungry and for the poor and homeless. As a result of our good works other people should be led to give praise to our Father in Heaven.

CAN YOU WHISTLE ?  or better still can you hold a note or play an instrument? If so, you are needed. Both the Saturday evening 6.30 Music Group and the Sunday 10.00am choir are desperately seeking new people to join them. Please speak to Margaret Dalton (music group) Paula McAleavey (10.00am choir) or to Father John.

DO YOU LIVE IN CHINNOR   or do you drive through Chinnor on your way to Mass at 10.00am on Sundays ? we have had an enquiry from a lady called June who is a carer in Chinnor and has no means of getting to the 10.00am Mass on Sunday’s, can you offer her a lift? If you can please speak to Polly in the Presbytery and she will give you June’s telephone number. Thank you.

THE PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING  will be held this Monday (7th February) at 7.30pm in the club room.

THE CLUB ROOM IS GLEAMING   thank you to the two lady’s of the parish for putting in so much time and effort to make it so.
