THE MOST BLESSED TRINITY This Sunday we look at the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity. We are made in God’s image and
likeness so we should be able to find it with our eyes of faith. God is love
and we find the Trinity in loving and being loved. Try to talk about the
presence of God through loving – if we have the wonderful grace of loving and
being loved we need to ponder it and let it fill our lives – in this way we proclaim the mystery of faith to each other.
ON SUNDAY 7th JUNE this Sunday, we are hosts to the Civic
Service at 3.00pm. I hope that many parishioners will come along to show support
for our local leaders and thus to encourage them for what they do on our behalf,
Deacon Brian in consultation with the Civic leaders has provided an excellent
service for us…..Please come.
SISTER ANNE MORRIS will be with us next Saturday 13th
June for our day on interpreting our Dreams or Finding God through Dreams.
Sister Anne is a lovely level headed Daughter of the Holy Spirit and I know
that she will be very helpful. Remember, our dreams tell us about our inner
lives. Sign up this week-end so that our helping team will know how much
delightful food to provide.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION SUNDAY next Sunday. Please continue to pray for the young and give them the
best possible example of devout reception of Holy Communion.Ten
children will be making their first Holy Communion at the 10.00am Mass – after
Mass as usual there will be a glass of something nice in the garden weather
permitting, and a splendid cake!
NEXT SUNDAY’S 10.00 am MASS will of course be busier than usual
because of the children’s First Holy Communion, but the children will join the
parish again at the 10.00am Mass on the following Sunday.
THE FLOWERY EVENING will take place in the Narthex on Thursday 11th June at 7,00pm.
CHRISTIAN AID At our Christian Aid Service on Sunday
May 10th the splendid sum of £346.90 was raised. The C.A. Committee
(Princes Risborough) would like to thank Father Gerald and Deacon Sean for an
inspirational service.
DO YOU KNOW A VETERAN WHO COULD USE A HELPING HAND ?
The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and
Families Association and the Royal British Legion have resources available.
The men and woman who have served
our country have earned the best that we can do for them. British service
veterans of all ages and experience, and their families, are eligible. Do you
know anyone who might need our help? Please phone 01844 216961.
PARISH PILGRIMAGE unfortunately insufficient numbers of
parishioners expressed interest in the proposed trip to Lisieux
and
OUR CHURCH ROTA Volunteers are urgently needed
to read, greet, help with the flowers, church cleaning and coffee following the
10.00am Mass. The more people that volunteer to help, the less frequently your
name will appear on the rota. Please give just a little of your spare time if
you possibly can. Thank you.
A NOTE FOR YOUR DIARY Sunday 12th July. Following
last year’s very successful parish party and cricket match we are repeating the
event again this year. It’s a great day out for all the family, so whether you
want to play or just watch cricket, to relax and just enjoy tea and a B.B.Q.,
why not come along. Everyone is welcome. See insert for full details which we
need you to complete please for numbers of players and for catering.
MONEY, MONEY. Offertory

God Bless your support and
generosity for your
Church.
