Group Mission Statement
To discuss, ponder and deepen understanding of readings, mainly from the Bible.

About the Group
This very friendly and informal group meets as lay people. Before each meeting a little reading is done (e.g. one or two chapters of a Gospel or Epistle) using the Bible and/or Study Guide. One volunteer leads the meeting, having done some extra reading. As a group they discuss and ponder the chosen reading.

This term we will continue with the letters of St Paul.

What to Bring
You need to bring a Bible – and an open mind! It helps if you can do some reading beforehand, but this is not essential. Our approach is leisurely, seeking information and ideas from commentaries and from each other. We quickly find is how varied our understanding of apparently familiar passages.

For further information, term dates and reading lists, see the notice board in the Church porch, speak to Monica White, or check this page. If you wish to attend a meeting, just turn up.
