SISTER ANNE MORRIS
will be with us on Saturday 13th
June for another
of our Saturday study days. Sister
Anne’s subject is our dreams and how they can speak to us of God. She writes
for the newsletter “our dreams and their interpretation have a long tradition
in scripture and that is where I shall begin the day….I shall not be asking
people to expose themselves unwittingly. I shall give various ideas on
interpreting dreams and illustrate with examples depending on how comfortable
people are they may volunteer one or two dreams, but I won’t be pushing this
side of things if it does not come spontaneously from individuals. I see it
more as a gentle introduction to one way of getting to know our unconscious
better and I shall link it to prayer also” Sister Anne is now at The Jesuit
Spirituality Centre at St Beunos in North Wales. Many
parishioners will remember the Saturday she gave us a few years ago on the
Myers Briggs approach to knowing your personality. I hope that many
parishioners will feel drawn to sister Anne’s visit and will sign up for it on
the sheet displayed in the Narthex. The day will start with tea and coffee at
10.30am and end at 4.00pm. Lunch will be provided. Voluntary contributions can
be made on the day.
