OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY to Anne and her family on the quite sudden and untimely death of John.  May he rest in peace.  I anointed him on 1st October. And he was making a good recovery.  The Lord called him early on the morning of our Parish Patronal Feast.  I mention this so that all St. Teresa’s parishioners will pray for John.  He loved our parish, our community of faith.  To know, that he loved our parish, the 6.30 p.m. choir group and his Catholic faith is and will be an inspiration to us all.  He is still with us in the Communion of Saints.

IS CHRIST CALLING YOU TO FOLLOW HIM AND SERVE HIS PEOPLE IN THE PRIESTHOOD?  There will be a weekend for men aged 18 or over who are asking themselves that question.  The weekend provides an opportunity to talk about Christ’s call with others in a friendly and relaxed situation.  It will take place at St. Martin de Porres, Luton from the evening of Friday, 24th October (arrivals from 6.30 p.m.) until after lunch on Sunday, 26th October.  Please speak to your parish pirest or contact Fr. Jonathan for further details of the weekend.  Those wishing to take part please inform Fr. Jonathan by 19th October.

THE MAGNIFICAT is a 400-page book for daily prayer which was first launched in France in 1992.  An English version has now been produced and the Catholic Herald have sent a number of complimentary copies which are in the narthex should anyone like to take one.

MONEY MONEY   Offertory £771.17 and the Retiring Collection for Family Fast Day £358.84. God bless your support for your Church.

Love and prayers
