WE ARE AN EASTER PEOPLE and Alleluia is our song. Easter tide lasts until
Pentecost and we should keep this in mind and heart. Difficult
in the midst of our daily activities and trials but not impossible. A good method is to try to think of Our Lord risen from the dead when we wake up in the morning. He has made his victory over sin and death
our victory. Which is
why we are believers. If we hold fast
to our faith in the resurrection of Jesus then we shall be truly an Easter
people and we shall look forward with faith to our own resurrection.

GOOD
SHEPHERD SUNDAY this weekend is a
time to reflect on how we all have a unique and distinctive role to play out
our particular vocations. It is also the
annual World Day of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life
and we are all invited to join the universal Church in praying that many will
respond to the Lord calling them to these vocations. Please keep especially in your prayers Simon Penhalagan and Andy Richardson, two young men of our
Diocese who will be ordained to the priesthood this Summer.
TRAIDCRAFT. Fairtrade
