THE INCLEMENT WEATHER  gave us all a good shake up, especially those who did such valiant work in clearing the snow. Everything can be turned to good so if we have had a timely reminder that we have no abiding city, that our heaven is not to be found on earth then that is bound to be good for us – provided of course that we heed the lessons which daily life brings us. It is all too easy to become so absorbed in our daily life that we lose sight of the bigger picture …. that we are not here permanently. That’s Good News not bad news for the faithful disciples of Jesus.

MASS INTENTIONS  Thank you for your generous Mass intentions the money you give is part of the priest’s personal income, it does not go to the parish. I say your intentions as soon as I can, sometimes there is a wait especially if one or more deaths occur in the parish. In some parish’s the wait can be up to twelve months – that is not the case for us at St Teresa’s. Mass intentions are entered in our Mass book and are said in the order in which they are entered. Sometimes I say the intention when I am away, as this coming week, be assured please that all the Masses you have requested are said as and when I can. If you have a particular date or month for the Mass to be said I shall always try to follow that – just let me know please. Thank God we are able to come to Mass – it is very impressive for me that so many come to the week-day Masses.
