ST TERESA’S BABIES AND TODDLER GROUP Our grateful thanks go to Mary Thalakuttyr,
Ruth Daraed and Madeline Lock for continuing to run
this very special and important group for the past two years. The group’s aim
is for mums/carers and little ones between the ages of 0 and 5 to meet every
Tuesday morning in the club room. Madeline and her family recently moved to
Dubai and Ruth and Mary’s little ones are now ready to move on to ‘big school’
so from September the group will be run by two other members. We thank Mary,
Ruth and Madeline for having taken the time out of their busy week to provide a
space for Christian development. The little ones learn quickly that we are a
living community and it is always a delight to see them recognising their play
mates when they come to
St T’s FC Due to unforeseen circumstances our get
together on Sunday 26th July is to be cancelled. The next meeting on
Sunday 30th August is for the future Year 6’s only, as it is to be a
planning meeting for the coming year and, as before, it is the year 6’s who
have a large say in planning the activities for the year. Very well done to the
St’ T’s FC for the brilliant fund raising event which was held last month.
About 40 parishioners came to watch the group present their thoughts and
actions on what the gifts of Pentecost meant to them. They were superb in every
way and raised the amazing total of £182.77 which will be shared between The
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and St Teresa’s Cafod project of helping to reintegrate child soldiers in

LUMOS Please pray for the 14 young people from
our parish who are away this weekend on the Lumos
retreat which is run by NYMO for all young parishioners in the Diocese between
the ages of 11 – 18. Due to popularity of this amazingly uplifting and
inspiring event, 120 young people and 20 catechists, including NYMO team
members, are meeting at the frontier Adventure Activity Centre in Irthingborough (near Northampton), which is large enough to
hold the increased number, (100 attended the January retreat). May God continue
to bless their young lives and fill them with gifts of the Holy Spirit as they
return to our parish to live out their lives as true disciples of Jesus.
LOST PROPERTY If you left a pair of grey jeans at
