MANY THANKS to all who made last Sunday’s cricket match such a
lovely occasion. We were blessed with
good weather, a splendid barbeque and lots of nice drinks. None of it just appeared, though it seemed
so! – so thanks again Theresa, Richard and the helpers
for making it all possible. Thank you
again, Margaret and James and your children, for opening your lovely house and
grounds to us. As your poor old priest
all I had to do was to thank God for so much good will and such happiness shared
by so many parishioners, young and old.
LUMOS. Fourteen of
our young parishioners are at
IT IS RETREAT TIME and I shall be going with three parishioners,
including Deacon Brian, to Hawkstone Hall for a six
day retreat led by Father Daniel O’Leary.
Father Tom Kenny will be here in my absence and I am very grateful to
him.
IFUNDA
THE CAFOD GROUP will be having a cake sale after each of the weekend
Masses next weekend and all proceeds will be going towards this year’s project
- Rehabilitation of Child Soldiers.
MONEY
MONEY Offertory £779.05, Retiring collection in aid of the
Apostleship of the Sea £183.04.and Cafod £2.00. Next week’s Retiring collection will be in the Ifunda Parish in
Love and prayers,
