COMING HOME This is the expression I often hear used by convert Catholics, “ I feel as If I have come
home” Our parish, our church is our second home. So much arises from this
simple way of referring to our church. We feel at home, we feel comfortable
with Our Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament, we feel comfortable with Our
Lady when Our Lord gave her to us as our Mother…..we feel comfortable with our
Patron Saint Teresa of The Child Jesus. When we come into our church for Mass
we could say “ It’s me , O Lord…I have come home”
N.B. (a) For born Catholics let us
be careful to be thankful about our second home from which we receive so much,
and seek ways in which we would love our church…..make it more beautiful by our
Catholic lives.
(b)
I think that there will be many people yearning for the spiritual life which we can offer.
THIS FRIDAY 2nd of October is CAFOD Fast Day and
