MY DAY OFF A WEEK seems to be working out well, thank God.  My close friends, not of this parish, have heard about it and want to share in the work of keeping me going.  I am very grateful for this as I am to parishioners who do so much for me.  No priest could ask for more.  In return I shall do all I can for you as long as I am able.  None of us knows how long she or he has to go.  That’s another aspect of our parish as a community: we pray for each other’s temporal and spiritual welfare and that we will be in good shape spiritually when the Lord comes for us.  Let us help each other to give a witness to the world around us as well as to our family and friends.

St T’s FC  meet this Sunday from 4-6 pm in the Walsingham Hall. This month the activity will include Sport and Games (including a (“Silly Olympics”) which is being organised by Simon Gibbs and Emily Daly. Everyone from years 4 to 6 are invited…..it would be really good to welcome those who have not, so far, been able to attend. Next month (July) will be an end of year party and the August get together will be for next year’s Year 6’s only so that they can help us to decide upon the format and activities for the following year.

CHAPLAINCY VISITORS  Our local hospitals need some committed Chaplaincy visitors to assist the ecumenical team in delivering good quality spiritual and religious care. They are looking for people who are good listeners, clear communicators and able encouragers who are people of Faith.
