I AM VERY GRATEFUL  for the calm way in which the parish took my announcement last week that I was to retire – from 14th February next year. I am grateful too for the understanding that so many parishioners have shown because they know that it is such a difficult time for me. I shall not be moving away from Princes Risborough where I have spent thirty two of the nearly forty six years since I was ordained in 1964. I am looking forward to the responsibility being lifted from me but I remain a priest until I die and I hope that I shall live as a priest until that day comes. “Into your hands O Lord I commend my spirit” For the immediate future I am very pleased to let you know that Father Tom Kenny will be with me over the Christmas period.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR SAUNDERTON LODGE  The parishioners of St Teresa’s have always been more than generous at Christmas time when buying and donating gifts to Saunderton residents, thank you. On Tuesday (1st Dec) The gift labels will be on the tree in the Narthex. If you can, please take one or two and buy a couple of extra presents when you are shopping. That would be wonderful.
