OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY to Beverley Crick and to the
daughters of her and Beresford, Lilian
and Cassandra, on the death of
TUESDAY the Solemnity of the Immaculate
Conception. Our Lady Immaculate is the principal Patroness of our Diocese - as is the
case of all the dioceses which were restored in 1850. The Dogma of the
Immaculate Conception was proclaimed in 1854 and in 1858 Our Lady said to

THREE YOUNG TRAVELLERS will be Confirmed this Sunday at the
10.00am Mass. They have been prepared by Celia and Jean – the young travellers
have been eager to learn. Bishop Peter has authorised me to Confirm
them and that is both a privilege and a joy for me.
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in the Christmas
Fest this year. St Teresa’s Parish raised an incredible £3000.00 for CAFOD and
the Parish.
ST TERESA’S ADVENT SERVICE this Sunday (6th) at 4.00pm.

Lord” with prayer, readings and beautiful music from the choristers, players
and our St Teresa’s youth.
OUR LITTLE VOICE the book written by you and put together
by Livvy will be on sale following each of the Masses
this week-end. They are just £3.00 each and a joy to read.
THRIVING CATHOLIC COMMUNITY (TCC) in last week’s Pastoral Letter Bishop
Peter invited the whole Diocese to reflect on the different aspects that make a
‘TCC’ as part of the “Walking Humbly With Our God” programme. Over the next few
weeks there will be inserts in the newsletter with material to help our
reflection and a DVD to watch in the New Year, put the dates in your diary now;
3.00pm on either Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th January. The
latest edition of the Vine will give you a sneak preview.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS for the residents at Saunderton
Lodge. Please remember these people when you are Christmas shopping. There are
labels on the tree in the Narthex, please pick up one or two if you can, it
would mean so much. Thank you.

ADVENT REFLECTIONS The next meeting is the 7thof
December in Ker Anna between 7.30 and 8.30pm. Come along to one or more of the
evenings and give yourself some quiet and reflective time during this normally
hectic period. All welcome.
CHURCHWATCH will finish for the Advent break on
Friday 11th December and
re-commence on Monday 11th January 2010 to coincide with the school
term. Thank you so much to all of those parishioners who have faithfully
‘watched over’ our church during the past year.
