Update

Thank you to everyone who joined and supported the 'Walk Against Hunger' sponsored walk in May 2022.  Over £700 has been raised so far.

Thank you!

The CAFOD (Catholic Aid For Overseas Development) Group was set up with two main objectives:

1. To raise funds for a specific project over and above the regular contributions made to CAFOD from Family Fast Day, CAFOD envelopes and the Christmas Fayre.

2. To raise awareness of the everyday hardships experienced by people in Third World countries.

To achieve these aims, we organise events to raise awareness and fundraise.

Traidcraft is organised by a member of the CAFOD Group. A stock of fairly traded goods, which include tea, coffee, dried fruit, cereal and chocolate, are on sale on the first Sunday of each month after each Mass, in the clubroom.

The CAFOD Group meets approximately 4 times a year in the evening in the Clubroom.

New members are always welcome. Next meeting date can be found on the upcoming events page or the latest newsletter.
