TRUST IN GOD  This week we are invited to put our trust in God. Just as a mother does not forget her child so God does not forget us. We are to trust God just as God trusts us to serve Him in this world.

 

RED APF BOXES  There are envelopes in the narthex for all who have Red APF Mission boxes at home. Please place the content of your box in the envelope and return to the Presbytery or Gladys. If anyone would like to have one of these boxes at home please contact Gladys.

 

PLANNED GIVING APPEAL  This weekend Mr Brin Dunsire of the Diocesan Planned Giving and Gift aid Service will be here to address us at  each of  the weekend Masses.

 

PALM CROSSES  Could you please bring last years palm cross back to the church and leave them in the Narthex for Theresa Aldis and Sue Bolton to collect. The Catechism group burn last years palms to make this years ashes for Ash Wednesday. Thank you.

 

NEXT WEEKEND  The C.A.F.O.D. Project Group will be selling Raffle tickets to raise funds for the Parish Project  (The village of Musha in Rwanda) The Raffle tickets will be £1 each for a chance to win one of two Fairtrade Hampers.

 

C.A.F.O.D. PROJECT GROUP MEETING    will be held on Monday 28th February (this Monday) at 7.30pm in the clubroom. If anyone is thinking of joining the group as a new member, please just come along and listen in on the meeting to see if you would like to be a part of it.

 

FAIRTRADE GOODS ON SALE  NEXT WEEKEND  in the clubroom following each Mass. It would be a very good thing to come and buy especially during Fairtrade fortnight.

 

A MESSAGE FROM EMILIE DALY  On March 5th (next Saturday) in the Walsingham Hall from 2.00 to 6.00pm ‘Energise’ will take place. Aimed at all the youth of the Parish from the First Communion Group up to the eldest members of S.T.Y.L.E.

The day will be action packed with games, workshops, drama, craft and an exploration into the Gospel of Lent. Come along and experience Faith in a different way and enjoy the whole day amongst friends. Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex (we need to know who will be coming) Contact Emilie Daly if you would like to know more.

 

LENTEN BOOKS AND CALENDERS   for adults and children are now available to purchase in the bookroom, please feel free to browse and buy.

 

C.T.S. BOOKS   have now arrived and there are a good selection for sale in a stand in the book room. Please feel free to browse, for more information speak to Louise Sharman.

 

CHRISTIAN AID  The monthly Christian Aid lunch will take place on Thursday 3rd of March at the Baptist Church Hall from 12 noon to 1.30pm. Three course lunch with tea/coffee for just £5.50. If you haven’t been before, please come, you will be warmly welcomed.

 

CHRISTIAN AID 2011 A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY  On March 23rd “Coffee in the Conservatory” plants, cakes, other goods. 10.00am – noon  at 52 Manor Park Avenue.

 

WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER  This year the Women’s world Day of Prayer service will be held this coming Friday, 4th March at St. Dunstan’s Church, Monks Risborough at 11.00am. The service written this year by women in Chile, will circle the world for 36 hours, starting at dawn in Tonga and ending at sunset in Samoa. Come and take part locally in this wonderful global cycle of prayer. Women, men and children are all welcome.

 

S.T.Y.L.E.  to meet up on Friday 4th March. 7.00pm to 9.00pm in the Clubroom.  All  young adults in years 7 – 13  are very welcome to come along.

 

ST.T’s F.C.  to meet up on Sunday 6th March 4.00pm to 6.00pm in the Clubroom. All young people in years 4 – 6 are very welcome to come along.
