THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD Since Christmas Day we
have contemplated the significance
of God becoming a human being and its implication for our lives. We now look at
Jesus, the adult, who is being baptised and receives the Holy Spirit. This is
the inauguration of Jesus’ earthly ministry.
We also were baptised and received the Holy
Spirit. Today’s Liturgy challenges us to see what has become of our mission and
ministry.
CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES So far about 40
questionnaires have been returned. If you were away last weekend, please
collect a questionnaire from the narthex and return it either to the box
provided or via the Presbytery letterbox.
PRAYERS
Please
keep in your prayers Peter Neal who is being received into the Catholic Church
this Saturday (8th) at the 6.30pm Mass and Anna Power and Ray
Conyers who have both undergone surgery this past week.
